In her posts, she expressed how spending time with birds has brought her unexpected happiness amid her grief, which she had openly described as overwhelming since Ozzy’s passing in July. “In all my sadness & grief I have found something that truly makes me happy!” she wrote over a photo of herself grinning while a barn owl is perched on her gloved hand. “I never thought I would find my smile again through falconry but I did. I absolutely love being with the birds!” Despite previously acknowledging the waves of sadness and the struggle of coping with the loss of her father, Kelly emphasized the comfort she finds in love, family, and new passions that help her find happiness again during this difficult time.
