Coldplay‘s highly successful Music of the Spheres Tour became even more monumental this weekend in Ahmedabad, India. On Saturday, January 25 and Sunday, January 26, the celebrated British rock band put on record-breaking performances at the Narendra Modi Stadium, drawing a crowd of over 220,000 people for the pair of shows. These were not only the biggest gigs of Coldplay’s career, but they also set the record for the largest stadium concerts of the 21st century, according to a press release. Coldplay’s ongoing Music of the Spheres Tour is the second highest-grossing tour in music history, and it continues to set records with every stop, selling over 12 million tickets and grossing over $1 billion during its historic run.
